Yukon Quest 300
Congratulations Michelle Phillips on 1st Place at the Yukon Quest 300!! Michelle finished just 8 seconds ahead of Aliy Zerkle(2012 Iditarod runner-up). I’m sure Michelle will have stories to tell you this summer when we stop at Caribou Crossing and the sled dog camp.
The Yukon Quest 300 is a recognized 300-mile qualifying race for both the Yukon Quest International Sled Dog Race and the Iditarod Trail.
We wish her luck at the Iditarod on March 2, 2013!
Yukon Quest 2013
Stopping at the sled dog camp in Carcross at Caribou Crossing is a fun visit during our tour to Emerald Lake. Michelle Phillips is the musher. You will have a chance to see her sled dogs and talk with her about the races. The Yukon Quest will be starting in about a week. We will watch the progress and let you know how they do. You can also check out her website at www.tagishlakekennel.com. Good luck to Ed & Michelle and their dog teams!
About our tours.
We have been on over 20 cruises so we know what it is like to be in large crowds. There are so many small groups and families that come on cruises that would like a specialized tour. They don’t want to be with the crowds. We go at your pace and stop when and where you want. It is your day!
We have decided not to go with an hourly rate. We don’t want you watching your clock. Once you book with us for the Emerald Lake Tour, you have us for the day. We have a minimum charge and then offer a discount per person after the minimum is met. Just ask us for details.
